ABOUT COLLEGE

Bhagalpur College of Engineering (BCE), Bhagalpur was established by the Department Of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar in the year 1960. The institute is also known as B.C.E Bhagalpur. Earlier it was affiliated to Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) Bhagalpur, Bihar and later on, it got affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna. BCE Bhagalpur is spread over 167 acres of land. Department of Science and Technology under the guidance of the government of Bihar administers the institution. BCE offers undergraduate courses in engineering and technology, which includes - Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. It also offers courses in Basic Science and Humanities.

Admission Process:

Bhagalpur College of Engineering, Bhagalpur offers undergraduate courses in engineering and technology. To get an admission to B.E and B.Tech, candidates need to appear for the entrance exam - JEE Main, conducted the National Testing Acadamy (NTA). Candidates also need to appear for the counselling, conducted by the Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling. The detailed admission process of the BCE is mentioned below:

UG Programmes:

- Condidates have to apply, appear and qualify the JEE Main.

- Based on the marks secured in JEE Main, candidates have to register for Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling, previously known as BCECE conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.

- Based on the merit of JEE Main a merit list will be prepared, candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be shortlisted for the counselling process.

- Shortlisted candidates have to participate in the counselling process, choice filling choice locking, seat allotment and document verification.

- Final admission will be based on merit, participation in the counselling process, choice filling choice locking, seat allotment and document verification.
